It all kicks off in June, with the match everyone has been waiting for coming to Mt Smart. The last time the Kiwis played Mate Ma’a Tonga was a seismic match up that launched the Tongan superstars into the top tier of International Rugby League.
This epic match is also the opening test of the new RLIF Oceania Cup – a new competition that will pit together Australia, New Zealand and Tonga in Pool A and Fiji, Samoa and PNG in Pool B – in a celebration of the very best of Pacific Rugby League.
2019 will also see the return of the Great Britain Rugby League Lions, playing a three test series in New Zealand.
