Joseph Parker - A fighting chance documentary
On December 10, boxer Joseph Parker will fight Andy Ruiz Jr. at Auckland’s Vector Arena for the WBO World Heavyweight title.
In this locally produced documentary, airing on SKY Sport 4 (channel 054) at 8.30pm on Friday 2 December, we head to Vegas for a behind the scenes look at Joseph’s journey to the fight, stepping right into his training camp and home base. Interviews with Joseph’s trainer, Kevin Barry, reveal their incredible relationship and show how his support has helped guide Joseph through his already stella career.
We also take a look back at his upbringing in New Zealand, through interviews with his beloved mother Sala and brother John, to find out exactly what shaped the boy from Mangere into a serious contender for the WBO World Heavyweight Title
