New Zealand Heavyweight Champion, Joseph Parker faced the dangerous, German Heavyweight Champion, Yakup 'The Scorpion' Saglam, at Arena Manawatu on Saturday 13 June.

Parker who at the time was the youngest boxer in the World Top 10 came into this fight on the back of a three week training camp with the Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, Wladimir Klitschko.

Once again Parker proved too powerful for his opponent, his speed and power punching sending the German to the canvas before the towel been thrown in for fear of Saglams safety.

This fantastic fight night also featurde the best of Australasian boxing in Aussie's hottest Welterweight prospect Jeff "The Hornet" Horn who defeated Ghana's number one, Richmond Djarbeng.
